A Message From Charlotte Johnson
Hello everyone my name is Charlotte but my family calls me Char Char and I just turned 4. I have genetic issues and have had a feeding tube since just a baby. I live with my mommy and daddy and 2 brothers
We have lots of fun together.
I love to sing and dance and play dress up. I really like animals too.
I’m excited that I get to go to school again this year. I'm ready to work hard and learn everything I can.
The little Light house is a Christian development center that serves children with special needs birth to six years. I've been on the waiting list since I was three months old. They currently have 94 children enrolled with approximately 273 on the waiting list. The little lighthouse provides state of the art services by highly trained professionals on staff. This includes special education teachers, occupational therapists, physical therapists , a low vision therapist, speech therapists, an assistive technology assistant and a nurse. The little lighthouse opened in 1972 and has always been tuition free. This is their 47th year anniversary, how cool is that. They run strictly from donations and don't receive any government funding or United way funding. It cost around 32,000 per child per year. They are tuition-free for the families. They use events to raise money. Mini-laps is their biggest fundraiser of the year. I need people to sponsor me when I make my lap, so I can help my school. If you would like to make a donation you can give a check to my parents( made out to TLLH). You can also mail it to the little lighthouse at 5120 E.36th st Tulsa ok 74135 or you can make a donation here on my webpage. Make sure you tell them my name so they know who is sponsoring me. Because my school is a 501(c)(3) it is tax deductible.
I hope my friends and family will help us to do our fair share in raising money for this event Thank you.
Can’t wait to start this next step in my life. Woohoo
