A Message From Lynda Crouch

Zephaniah 3:17 "The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save: he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing." It is my fifth year at the Little Light House and it's been on my heart to raise funds for the 120 children in the Developmental Center that we serve, over 80 families enrolled in Early Intervention (and growing!) and 238 children on the wait list. I will be riding my bicycle for over 200 miles for 3 days on the weekend of 9/3/22 through 9/5/22 to honor all that the Lord has provided for this ministry. I hope to earn at least $2000 so that LLH can continue to grow and expand services here in Tulsa as well as our Global Classroom in which we have provided support to over 100 countries with free Bible based curriculum adapted for children with special needs and training for special education teachers/therapists. Even if you are not able to provide monies for support, please pray for the LLH ministry to continue to expand and spread God's love in a time of uncertainty and chaos in this world. I'd also love prayers for myself for safety for my training days as well as my 3 day ride. Please check out my facebook page https://www.facebook.com/lynda.crouch.756 for updates on my training for this event along with pictures and stories of God's love and blessings that have transformed my life through this ministry. Every day I am beyond blessed to serve these sweet little ones and their families as a vision therapist and with assistive technology services so that they can reach their goals and full potential. For those of you that don’t know, The Little Light House is a Christian Developmental Center for ages birth to age six. We provide FREE OF CHARGE Christian Educational and Therapeutic services with the use of our own curriculum developed by the staff. Because of increasing communityawareness, we continue to have a waiting list which is currently about 238 children that are waiting to come into our program. The exciting thing is because of the long waiting list , we have started an Early Learning Intervention Program. It is a part-time mommy and me type of class for two-hours twice a week every other week. It focuses on personal growth for the child, but it also allows the parents to develop their own supportive community. With the addition of this program, we have been able to serve an additional eighty students while they wait to get into our developmental program. In addition to our EI Classrooms we have added two more developmental classrooms, which will hold ten kids each. With these new programs, that will allow us toserve one-hundred kids. Here is a link to our website to learn more about the Little Light House and the mission of the organization. https://www.littlelighthouse.org/ and a sweet video with many of our students and teachers/therapists. https://www.facebook.com/littlelighthouse/videos/331384861359631 Blessings always and love to you all! ♥♥♥ Lynda

In Support of Little Light House

Little Light House is a Christian Developmental Center for Children with Special Needs from birth to 6 years old. Tulsa’s Little Light House is internationally recognized as providing some of the most individualized special education and therapeutic early intervention services in the world. A trans-disciplinary team approach maximizes a comprehensive knowledge from professionals who work collaboratively to design prescriptive programs for each child and assist every child in reaching their maximum potential. Through a variety of programs and schedules, these services are carried out by highly credentialed teachers, therapists, and specialists who represent decades of pediatric experience. Early Intervention classes are provided as a part-time program where caregivers attend and learn along with their child for two-hour classes once a week.

Little Light House is tuition-free for families and does not receive government or United Way funding. Support comes from individuals, organizations, corporations, and foundations. In addition, LLH hosts four annual fundraisers each year bringing in about 40% of the $4.2 million dollar operating cost that allows our staff of over 90 members to provide services to over 300 children and families, support nearly a thousand volunteers, and train over 1,000 college and career students each year.

Little Light House believes that all children are a gift from God with the potential to achieve specific milestones to advance their quality of life. We strive for excellence by utilizing a Bible-based curriculum in a fun and loving atmosphere. We believe in an individualized, trans-disciplinary and God-centered approach to education-an approach that joins parents, professionals, and the Holy Spirit as partners in order to nurture the spirit, mind, and body of the children and their families. Our commitment incorporates being called to work/volunteer with children with special needs. Little Light House encourages a positive outlook on the future, based on trust in a loving heavenly Father.
