A Message From Hannah Jimenez

Help Me Reach My Goal for Little Light House! As I begin my 4th year at Little Light House, I am continually in awe of the work God is doing in the lives of our students, families, and staff. During my time here, I’ve worked in multiple departments, and I can confidently say that every person at LLH is united in the same mission—to glorify God and change the lives of children and their families. Through our programs, we see perspectives shift locally and globally. We see ALL children for who they truly are: exactly who God created them to be. Psalm 139 reminds us that every child—whether or not they have a disability—is purposefully, fearfully, and wonderfully made: “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭139‬:‭13‬-‭16‬ ‭NIV‬ At LLH, we believe each child is perfectly made with great purpose. Here, “never” becomes “not yet,” and miracles happen every day. We watch children walk, talk, sit up, crawl, smile, and meet milestones they were once told they’d never reach. We never lose faith that God will make a way—He’s in every detail, and you can feel His presence the moment you walk through our doors. LLH is a tuition-free, non-profit developmental center. We receive no United Way or federal school funding—every service we offer is made possible through the generosity of people like you. This year, I have a goal of raising $2,500 for our Back-to-School Fundraiser. Every dollar makes a difference. YOU can help kids be kids and change lives around the world. You can donate directly through my fundraising page or contact me for other ways to give. Thank you for being a part of what God is doing at Little Light House!

In Support of Little Light House

Little Light House is a Christian Developmental Center for Children with Special Needs from birth to 6 years old. Little Light House is internationally recognized as providing some of the most individualized special education and therapeutic early intervention services in the world. A trans-disciplinary team approach maximizes a comprehensive knowledge from professionals who work collaboratively to design prescriptive programs for each child and assist every child in reaching their maximum potential. Through a variety of programs and schedules, these services are carried out by highly credentialed teachers, therapists, and specialists who represent decades of pediatric experience. Early Intervention classes are provided as a part-time program where caregivers attend and learn along with their child for two-hour classes once a week.

Little Light House is tuition-free for families and does not receive United Way funding. Support comes from individuals, organizations, corporations, and foundations. In addition, LLH hosts four annual fundraisers each year bringing in about 40% of the $4.2 million dollar operating cost that allows our staff of over 90 members to provide services to over 300 children and families, support nearly a thousand volunteers, and train over 1,000 college and career students each year.

Little Light House believes that all children are a gift from God with the potential to achieve specific milestones to advance their quality of life. We strive for excellence by utilizing a Bible-based curriculum in a fun and loving atmosphere. We believe in an individualized, trans-disciplinary and God-centered approach to education-an approach that joins parents, professionals, and the Holy Spirit as partners in order to nurture the spirit, mind, and body of the children and their families. Our commitment incorporates being called to work/volunteer with children with special needs. Little Light House encourages a positive outlook on the future, based on trust in a loving heavenly Father.
